Ain’t that the truth? It has been especially bad lately. If they’re not repeating the baldass lies of McCain and Palin, or whipping u the panic of the great unwashed over wall street, they’re basically phoning it in altogether. Have you noticed than CNN Headline News is completely dedicated to nightly chat about a single missing child? Tragic of course, but it ain’t news anymore. Nancy Grace makes Squelch want to take a shower, and not in a good way.

It astounds me that our nation is able to stumble through (although lately not so much) with such complicity in its excesses and errors by the mass media. When I tune into BBC radio, or KPFK radio and even NPR and hear what’s being reported to those few who wish to be accurately and fully informed, I cannot believe that our race has long to survive. And now, as the above post notes, with the mass media blaring out the slurs by Sarah Palin about Obama’s association with William Ayers, I despair utterly. If we survive the next four weeks and elect Obama/Biden, there’s hope. But not if not.
